Welcome to Thursa!
Thursa opened in December 2023 by long time Victor Harbor local, Louisa Gormley. Thursa is a little shop in the heart of Victor Harbor, thoughtfully curated lovely things, fashion, gifts and homewares. You’ll find the perfect finishing touch for your home, a new dress or top, or the unexpected delightful gift for someone you love.
Although the Thursa space is small, she is mighty. Locals will be pleased to hear Louisa carefully buys select styles, in limited numbers, you’re unlikely to see your new Thursa dress walking down Ocean Street. New to Thursa? You’re in for a treat!
What's with the name?
Thursa (prounounced thur-za) was my Nanna's name. Nanna was the most magnificent woman I've ever known. The most loving soul, who baked, cooked and catered for all. She cleaned house like no one else and created a home filled with love and so many lovely things. But most of all Nanna made everyone feel special.
Delivery & Returns
We have a 14-day return policy online, you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. 14 days from your purchase date when buying in store. We’re sorry, there is strictly no refunds, returns or exchange on discounted items.
To be eligible for a return and to avoid disappointment please ensure your item is in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.
You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. We want to do the right thing by you, but we need to be able to resell the item you are returning, please be considerate and fair - and we will be too.
To start a return, you can contact us at hey@thursashop.au. If your return is accepted, we kindly ask you to post the item back at your own expense. We will provide instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can look into the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalised items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and reviewed your return, we will promptly reach out and let you know if your return is approved, or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please understand it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund, this is out of our hands.
SHIPPING
Standard Shipping
We have a flat fee of $12 for shipping and use Australia Post. Orders are packed and sent Mo/We/Th/Fr
Express Shipping
Express shipping is $25 Australia wide.
Heavy/Bulky Shipping
Heavy/Bulky shipping is required on items such as doormats, lamps and beach umbrellas. It may also be payable on other bulky items and will be calculated separately. Please check product page notes carefully for details of additional shipping on heavy/bulky/fragile items.
Timeframe
Orders will be processed and shipped within 1-2 business days. If you're local, and would prefer to pick up, please select local pick up.
